![]() ![]() ![]() Switched back to windows, everything works fine. ![]() Repeat process, got stuck east of ost guruth when entering the Haragmaur (?) swamp. Repeat process got stuck again at horsey man in east Bree. Repeat process, getting stuck in a loading screen for AH. Kill the game proc, start up again, getting stuck a second time in bree. Installed the latest nvidia drivers, did a reboot and got through a couple of loading screens, but then got stuck in bree where there was heavy load. Played from windows fine, then switched to ubuntu and got stuck on loading screens. I know for (pretty) sure that it is not a server-side issue. I know when I play DDO the only place I get hang ups is when swapping in and out of dungeons and it is a known problem. Getting stuck on loading screens could well be an issue either server side or on the net. (if this has been covered, sorry, don't have time to read all of the posts here) Any tips on how to resolve this? Obviously it seems to work a lot better for other people here. So, loading time seems to be a real issue here. So I killed the process thinking it might be easier to just restart the game and maybe start up in the auction house, but now the game itself freezes before the movies start in the beginning, right after update check and stuff. So I figured what the hey, then went on to the auction house. So windowed mode finally shows and I get to Michel Delving but then I can't switch back to full screen. Things have changed a fair bit since our initial discoveries, mainly as wine improves so some of the troublesome options no longer become huge issues.
